Gmote is a client part application to remotely control your computer from Android phone.
Gmote turns your Android phone into a remote control for your computer, enabling you to start and control movies and music at a distance. This is a client application. After app installed and launched, you will be asked to install on you computer the server part Gmote Server.New 2.0:

Note: If you cannot install last version, try to instal an older one and then update to the last version on Market. This was helpful on a G1 phone.
